We have an Exchange 2000 server, on which the BESAdmin account resides. We also have an Exchange 2003 server and have installed an Exchange 2007 server. We are using BES 4.1.4.12 and have installed the proper cdo's and MAPi for Exchange 2007. Moved a BES user over to the EX2007 server and it could not receive emails.
Do I need to move the BESAdmin account to the Exchange 2007 server first?
Should I set the MAPI profile to the Ex2007 server. and do I have to move the account to that server first?
If I set the MAPI profile to the EX2007 server, are the BB users on the other servers still going to be able to communicate with it on their blackberries?
Public folders are installed on a stand-alone Ex2007 server.
All the appropriate rights have been assigned to the BESAdmin account for EX2007 as well.

For some reason I couldnt get it to work until I added the BESADmin to Exchange Administrators (not just the view-only admins). Then the MAPI didnt give me errors
As I stated previously, we have 2 Ex2000 servers, one Ex2003 server and one Ex2007 server. We got BB's working on the Ex2007 server just fine. The BES acct is on the 2007 server and the BES server has the correct dll and MAPI for Ex2007.
Currently the most important VIP's are on the Ex2003 server and are using their BB's. They will be moved to Ex2007 as soon as we are ready to do so, probably by the end of the month.
We are experiencing calendaring issues with these users who are also using Outlook 2007 and sending/receiving meeting requests to those who are using Outlook 2003. Duplicates are being created when updates are sent between mismatching outlook clients.
We have opened a ticket with Microsoft about this, but I was wondering if there was any chance that the BES ex2007 cdo may be at the root of all this? Has anyone else had a similar issue?
Again, i did our move months ago and i cant recall completely. But i think the calendar issue was caused by permissions. Our 2003 users could not sync their calendars at all until they were moved to the 2007 server. We tryed many things to resolve it and even RIM told us that because 2007 was still unsupported at the time that they couldn't help us beyond the normal troubleshooting. They were very helpful but the next step would had envolved their programmers/engineers which were alredy working on supporting 2007. So our solution was to just move them to the new servers.
edit: i just re read your post and i realized i was thinking you were talking about BB syncs. We have not moved to Office 07 yet so unfortunetly i have no information there :(

Turns out the issues I mentioned in the previous post which we thought were affecting users with different client versions of Outlook are actually affecting blackberry users on the Exchange 2003 server only, regardless of outlook version.
To clarify, users with blackberries on our exchange 2007 server are having no issues. Those on the Exchange 2003 server are getting duplicate meetings when they receive an updated meeting request. And if the meeting is cancelled, it still leaves one of these meetings behind on their calendar and removes the other. This began after we upgraded the BES server to the newest version and registered the cdo.dll and installed the MAPI for Exchange 2007.
