I got this thing to help with my forgetfulness. Yesterday I made a voice recording to myself to update a document when I got home. Must I say.....I forgot to check the recording. Somebody wanna make a shock reminder?

Overall I love this program. But I have a question.

So I chose to save the files on my microSD card and the saved file format is .amr.

I copied those files and pasted them on my computer. I can't find any media players to play those files.

Just wondering if there is a way to save them as MP3 or other common audio files so that I can play them on my computer.
Thank you for using our VR+!

Recorded files are stored on your Blackberry in .amr format. In order to listen them on your computer, send them by email. Our special service will convert them in mp3

I think, you record your voice message, create e-mail mesage with *.amr voice file, send to recipient, your voice message converted wia SHPE service to MP3 format. So, your recipient receive voice message as e-mail with MP3 file in attachment. The service (remote web service) only convert from AMR to MP3.

Thumbs up I know I'm late to the 'review game', but...

How's this for a review?
htt p:// m.podshow.com/media/1390/episodes/49497/thepridelands-49497-02-09-2007.mp3
(remove spaces between 'htt' and 'p://' and the rest of the url)

I love it! I just need to find a good mic to use with the Pearl...

Yes, VR+ is compatible with 8800 as it also uses OS 4.2.

Comments and suggestions: Is there anyway to save the recording to mp3 directly to microSD card without going through emailing? sometimes the file is too big and i do not want it to be sent via email, but download them to pc directly. sounds like right now the only way to get mp3 file is use your conversion in email...

would love to pay for this function: to mp3 file without going through email.

I am looking for a way to record telephone conversations too. I just bought my 8100 and just figured this would be a standard feature. I searched around and found a plethora of other devices that could attach to my bb or cell phone to record conversations but so far have not found software that will let me record a phone conversation.

This whole thing makes little sense to me why this has not already been developed. Can someone explain it to me?

Thanks

Alan
