Wow...thumbnail view for selecting a picture is intermittently so slow/laggy that it's almost unusable.

Also, pics that display fine in the BB's media viewer are squished by PictureID regardless of whether I enable/disable image resizing in PIctureID. I took a picture w/my Pearl...looks fine on-screen viewing it. I set it as the picture for one of my contacts and when I get a call the picture is squished horizontally...I've tried it w/resize picture both enabled and disabled. This bug needs to be fixed to make this usable...or explained why an image that displays fine on the Pearl won't display properly when set as a picture ID. Thanks.

Had trial version...kept it less than an hour.

which BB model do you have? does it sounds like skipping? do you have both the default ringtone and mp3 ringtones in pictureID sounding the sametime?

- Better picture support. Aspect ratio is maintained for all the pictures. even on the Storm landscape mode

- Added new checkbox "Do not handle 2nd call" in the Prefs. this is for users who are having problems answering
the 2nd call. If this is checked then PictureID will not handle the call.

- Fixed the minor bug with always search in contacts

- Better performance when always search in contacts is selected

- A different version is compiled for the Storm

Are there any plans for this to work when the handheld is locked? Our IT policy on the BES server mandates that our handhelds lock after 10 minutes of activity.

I want to know the same thing. This is why I did not install it several months ago. I keep my phone locked 90 percent of the time.

sorry to say but no.

RIM still have not fixed the bug. not sure what they are doing with the Bold and 8900 OS.
