My phone shows " My Number: unknown " on the phone call screen. How do I impute my Phone number so it shall show the number instead of unknown?
What screen shows the Number, contact6 manager?

I do not think you should have to. Are you setting this up for the first time? If so go to your service providers web site and resend the service books.
try that first, it sounds like your bb is not set up with the carrier.
