I have a Torch and am having some problems with UK landlines not being able to call me in France (bouyges Tel), although I can call anyone I want in the world, and anyone appears to be able to call me apart from UK Landlines.

I took my sim out and put it in my old blackberry bold, and everyone could call me again from UK LAndlines......

I checked in call barring, and the sim can not bar any numbers at all......I dont really know what could be causing this problem!!!!

Has anyone got any ideas?

ps when people call from a uk land line they get a voice recording with an American accent saying that I'm unavailable.

This sounds like a network or provisioning issue. Have you contacted your carrier?
