Should I narrow it down to a defective phone. While talking to others in my company they are having the same similar problem.
I have serious delays in recieving emails on my 8700G. First they start coming in perfect then 15 minute delays then they get longer. Up to 4-5 hours I then have to take the batter out and restart it. I actually made it routine to send myself a test email to see if I have to reboot the phone in the middle of the day. Is this just T-mobile or is it the phone? I called tech support and they tried sending test emails and out of 5 I got 3. They havent been any help at all. I deleted and resent all service books also.
As you all know emails that are recieved late are sometimes damaging. Plus my signal is just horrendous. The dropped calls are quite often and any call I have is very choppy. I dont know why my company switched to them but now its too late for them. They should of just paid the extra dough for Verizon.
My business partner had the same problem with a 8700f (Orange, in France). The emails would be delayed for hours. Tech support could not help to track the source of the problem, so he got a new one and all seems fine now (at least I haven't heard complain about it anymore...)
I had the same problem when I first got my 8700g... i ended up talking to tech support at RIM... whatever they did worked... I don't have that problem any more. how long has this been a problem for you? it could've just been a problem with the towers that are used for T-Mo's BB's often t-mo's tech support isn't anyhelp.. u may need to be transferred to BB support and then to RIM support.
This has been happening since we switched over to T Mobile since April. Its so frustrating to have to take the battery out twice a day and wonder if your recieving any emails.I spoke to RIM and they didnt know what is going on. I seem to drop so many calls and the connection is above 3 bars and I still get complaints that I have a bad signal. I guess its just the service. I Spoke to my office about this and they are thinking of cancelling the service because everyone is saying the same thing. They should of just stayed with Nextel but with Tmo I get the cool 8700 phone. LOL

Really? I suppose it depends on the area. In my area, Verizon is good but kind of expensive (plan wise). Cingular doesn't work well at all. My husband had it and he could never get service anywhere, even after buying a new phone with better band quality. He switched to TM (as I've had it for a few years) and no problems.
My question is, have you actually talked to a higher tier tech support at TM? It sounds like you have made the necessary calls but I've noticed talking to a 2 or 3 tier support person makes a big difference. You could mention it about all the company phones having a problem...they might take it more seriously.
