Default Too many rings

Please Login to Remove!

When I try to access my voicemail (T-Mobile) with a standard phone (land line) my Blackberry will ring a dozen times before the Voicemail answers. Is there anyway to reduce the number of rings? It just takes too long to get voicemail messages.

Call your provider and ask them to shorten it for you.

i believe with tmobile theres a setting in the voicemail options were you can set how many rings it takes before it goes to voicemail

Yes, and it's free. Just call Nextel and have them add 'extended ring tone'. It'll double the number of rings before going to vmail.

Yup. With T Mobile I just had to call and have them make the change on their end. I asked to have it ring for as long as possible before Vm picked up.

thanks for the feedback. I called T-mobile and they shortened the rings for me. It must have been set for 30 seconds. They shortened it to 10 seconds.

thanks

Or maybe (please note "Maybe")

by calling your voicemail and going tru the personal options settings, you can change the number of rings

i know my old carrier (Fido) could change the number of rings by the IVR
