Just a thought, but have you thought about adding some more plugins besides stocks and weather? If you had one for sports scores where I could enter my favorite teams and see scores (and perhaps clicking the score would open the browser and load a box score), that would probably be enough to convince me to buy it.

It may only be me, but it seems like the new version will jump to the weather even when it is not manually refreshed...

WNO, download again, the 2.12 version had a slight refresh problem, 2.13 fixed that.

When replying to an email from the PD software, the ability to capitalize a letter by holding it down no longer works.
I'm on a BB 7230 running OS 4.0 and PD 2.06.

Thanks, and sorry for the irritating post (and inadvertent repost). I'd actually read the refresh posts yesterday, and thought I downloaded the new version after that, but I see now that I have 2.12. My apologies!
[Hmm...but when I go to download 2.13, it says that I already have it...]

Mark, thanks for the help on the pre-1970 recurring appt; I discovered that my secretary set the start year for certain events to 1899. I'd read about pre-1970 events presenting sync problems, but haven't experienced any problems in syncing or in viewing such events on the BB calendar. But at least I'll now know why PD isn't working the next time my secretary thinks we've been doing something since the 19th century!

I agree with the sports scores, that would be sweet......
On another note, I know I asked this awhile ago with an earlier version, but has there been any effort to fix the "Uncaught Exception: DSC" error that occurs when you map bluetooth to one of the buttons in PD? If you could turn bluetooth on in one press, I'd buy this program today.

Mark,
I ran into an odd one this weekend...
You know how the icons change from being an envelop to an arrow when it's highlighted, showing where you are in the list? Well they don't always switch back to being an envelop after I've scrolled down beyond it. Scrolling back over multiple times doesn't correct or affect it. A reboot cures it but the problem does come back. Also, I've seen time cure it as well. On the road Friday I noticed they weren't changing back after scrolling though them ... and then an hr or so later I checked it again and it was just fine. I do have to unlock my device (corp. required) if that means anything to you.
BTW, I really like your product - just wish stocks and weather worked for me. I can't figure it out for the life of me - probably related to the BES and whatever the IT Policy is that my corp. loaded!

tys,
This happens when the BB doesn't actually clear the Shift lock. It will stop if you hit the Shift key. I'm not sure what causes this. I've also seen it once or twice.
If the stocks and weather don't work it's definetely an issue with your company's BES server. You can try the WAP settings in PocketDay.

Mark,
I would but haven't a clue what to put in as the apn, proxy, username/pw, etc. I've tried multiple configs only to end up with pop-up windows saying "this application is trying to make an internal and external connection to the firewall which is not permitted by my IT Policy". I can't ever correct from that and end up deleting and reinstalling, then just removing the stocks/weather features all together.
Any way to read what my IT Policy says?

tys,
go to home/options/service books. Look for WAP transport. View it and look for the gateway IP and port. Make sure you're using version 2.13 of pocketday. IN the pocketday comms settings, make internet connection default, select WAP and enter the gateway ip and port. leave the APN balank unless you see it in the service book. Leave username and password blank.
Then exit pocketday using the menu/exit command.
Then go to home/options/firewall and reset it. Then, pop the battery out of the blackberry for a few seconds. Then try pocketday.

Request for Future Release
Mark,
1st the program is GREAT and use it all the time.
Is there a way in the key mapping that you can add keypad lock, from the BB screen if you press "K" it goes into lock mode. Any chance this functionality can be added in a future update? I hope
Thanks.....

I second this, holding down the * on a 7100 locks the device, as someone who doesn't use the holser it would be very useful to be able to use a shortcut to lock my phone directly from pocketday
Cheers

Mark,
Thank you very much for explaining that to me. I had no ideas the ip/port were already contained in the device. Looks as though two ports were listed as after they 10.250.250.250 gateway it says 9201;8205/proxy|GPAK. I tried the 9201 port last night without success (I got null condition on the weather screen) and am trying the 8205 port this morning. I will keep you posted. In the meantime, if this doesn't work what else can/should I try?

Mark,
Using the second port did not work either. My weather report still shows "null".

Mark,
Any more thoughts on this issue. I have the stocks working fine noew, but still getting "nulls" in the weather part. The screen is partially coming up, but all of the data is nulled.
I appreciate all of the support!!
