Alright guys I just got back from the Rogers store and asked them a few questions.

They said if I get the bold through them that they require a data plan to be purchased. But If I get the Bold through ebay or craiglist and have it unlocked and have my internet connection blocked off I can use it like a regular phone. They also said that If I get a Bold that is from another provider and have it unlocked that some of my feature might now work like Call Display, Voicemail all that stuff. So could you guys tell me a provider that matches up with rogers so I do not have any problems. Rogers link is below

Only you can pick the carrier. You need to look at where you use the device and find the one that gives you a proper signal? We do not know which carrier cover where you live, work, travel or play.

What good is suggesting AT&T when that doesn't work for you, or Fido, or Bell or Wind or anyone else?

The only phone that can guarantee you ALL the features of Rogers, is a Rogers branded.
As I said above, don't buy a T-mobile one if you plan to use 3G as it will not work on Rogers.

And Matrix Leader, you have to learn that different carriers handle phones differently. AT&T will automatically add a smartphone plan to your account - whether you want it or not. All carriers are not the same.

What will Rogers do? Only Rogers knows.

This makes no sense at all! You can do anything. I have it here and I tested it, I put a sim card that has no data plan and it works perfectly.
