I just downloaded SPB TV and it works on my Bold 9700 for longer than 30 seconds. I used it for about 5 minutes before exiting it and it didn't reboot at all. When I installed it, I was given 2 options... one for the Storm and one for other Blackberries. I picked the "other Blackberries" version.

The only thing that I noticed when I installed it was that the audio went very high and I couldn't lower it. I then pressed a few keys (can't recall which ones) since I wanted to quiet down the sound. It seemed as if it was on full blast. One of the keys that I pressed placed it in the background and when I called it back from the background applications, the sound was back to normal.

Google Talk doesn't work and Google doesn't have a compatible version out yet.

Is there something I can substitute it for that works with Google's network?

The default Google Talk that was installed on my Bold 9700 works for me without any problems.

I fixed it. App World let me install it and it put it in the IM folder but it didn't come loaded from AT&T

Google Sync on a BES-enabled 9700 doesn't work properly.
Regardless of the setting for Default [CMIME] service... Google Sync insists on adding new calendar entries to the Desktop calendar, and not the GMail Calendar.

Enterprise messenger doesn't seem to be working for me on it and I have the newer version that should work with a 5.0 OS, it worked on my 9000 but won't on my 9700.

Wirelessly posted (Breaking Ball)

Enterprise Messenger works. Make sure you're using version 2.5.20 and you don't have any remnant modules from previous versions hanging around.

Beejive has a new pre-release out which works well on the 9700, version 2.00(13) RC1

Zagat by Handmark has finally updated the software to 7.0.58. I got the download directly from them

Default Gokivo!

Gokivo worked GREAT on my blackberry 8900 with Tmobile! I transferred it to my 9700 and it worked fine for a week. THEN I did an upgrade from App World and guess what...no Gokivo!

GIVEN...Gokivo had never asked me to pay for it (lol) and it had worked for 5 months without me ever paying for it. They only do AT&T now from their website but they say they will offer it to other phone companies soon...I don't think they had it figured out that ATT and T-mobile are basically the same technology and never had a way to pay for it through T-mobile but allowed it to work for the longest time without asking...lol...was nice free!!!

I'm gunna get Garmin mobile I think (cheapest and it's better than Gokivo anyways).
