Default Verizon data issues 22 Dec.

Please Login to Remove!

I am in Charlotte, NC and have been experiencing problems. I am not receiving any emails nor is my browser working and called into Verizon and they said there is an apparent national outage for the blackberry. I am not sure whether this is totally true or not.

there is not national outage for BlackBerry, unless my device was excepted from the "national" part of that.

I've been having data problems on vzw all day in SE Pennsylvania. EVDO has been very sporadic and has resulted in an exceptionally greater drain on my battery. The Storm was consuming a good portion of the battery daily to begin with, today it didn't make it...

problems all day today in NYC and westchester NY. Poor lock with 1X and 1XEV. Lots of time in 1x abd 1xev. Seems to be a problem here with my storm 0.83. No problems till today.

I've been having problems for the last two days, only my phone will stay in D and occasionally jump into 1x, 1X, or 1XEV modes. I never had anything like this happen until yesterday and to make matters worse (or better I think), it completely went away when I left work.

Still having issues today. Just spoke with Verizon and they said that RIM relased a statement (directly to Verizon) saying that there are still problems with upgrading their browser software,which is the root of the problem.

Completion time is unknown.

I'm located in central North Carolina and have no data coverage as of today 12/24. No emails, BB messenger, not even PIN messages work. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

I'll second that. I've been sending/receiving emails and am connected to AIM and Y!. Email activity has been light but I think it's because no one is around playing on the computers today.

Something happened yesterday and I had to send my service books again to be able to access my browser, but that's all that I've had happen recently. Never lost anything else that I'm aware of.

Have the same issue just today though. Can send and receive emails, no internet. Have the 1x going, Merry Christmas from rim & Verizon!
