Default BES on DC stopped working

Please Login to Remove!

Hello
I had a Blackberry Enterprise server installed on a member server which was setup by my predecessor and we had some problems and were forced to upgrade that member server to a domain controller. I looked into this and apparently BES is okay to run on a DC. But after the promotion to a DC the SQL BESDB wont start and the blackberry manager is not working - any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Error logs are as follows:

The description for Event ID ( 20000 ) in Source ( BlackBerry Controller ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Unable to connect to registry on \\127.0.0.1, will try again in 10 seconds.

check if your BB service account is still a local admin. (different location on a DC as to a member server)
run the latest sp for the bes again with the bb service account and see if it clears the errors.
