Default HELP! on tmo.blackberry.net email account

Please Login to Remove!

This morning I was receiving e-mail messages from both my yahoo.com and blackberry.net account, but there is no message and it shows something like this:

From: (Sender)
Subject: (Topic)

(1Attachment)

application: multipart/unknown

(no message follows)

It happened when I tried to install the official release of the new v4.5 OS from T-mobile, which was not installed on my device. My question is "How can I retrieve those messages that I already received?" Is there a way that I can pull those up like the yahoo.com account, which is through its website or internet? I was able to check those messages coming from my yahoo account, but I do not know how to get those from tmo.blackberry.net account. I am currently using the v4.2 OS. I am thinking that the ver4.2 OS was not installed properly. It only happened for about 6 hours. They are okay now, both yahoo.com and blackberry.net e-mail messages, receiving all messages fine.

I tried calling the blackberry pda tech support from t-mobile and they said that there is no way we can retrieve those messages, unless the sender sends it again. I said "WHAT THE F___?!!" If that is the case, there is NO BACK UP for these error messages. Therefore, I RECOMMEND ALL USERS NOT TO SET UP A TMO.BLACKBERRY.NET ACCOUNT!!! It's a waste. I hope they'll do something about this.

Please help me!!!

That is one of the major drawbacks of using the carrier supplied email account, and not just the TMO supplied one, but all of them. Many of us here do not recommend using it all.

Not much can be done AFAIK. The only way to recover mail on that account is to resend. The only way to view them is on the BB itself, no webmail application at all.

Thanks Dub! That's what I figured out and I can't do anything but to cut off and not use it.

If you really want to use the blackberry.net address but want a web solution for backup, you could create a free account (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.) and have all messages forwarded to that account. It won't recover anything already lost and it is a bit redundant but it would provide an emergency option if you do want to continue to use the address. (I confess -- I love my BB and it's cool to have a BB address!)

I don't know about the others but gmail will also allow you to send email using your BB address. As I said, it can provide an emergency solution if you do want to use the address.
