Please Login to Remove!

my new phone has IT policy installed and i've never synced it with a DM. i'm trying to reset to factory defaults, but each time i try to connect my phone to DM it says:

"BlackBerry Desktop Manager failed to connect to your BlackBerry device."

i've tried reconnecting the device a million times, but still get the same error msg. anyone have any clue what's wrong?

Is this a device from your company or did you get a used device? If it is your company device, then I do not recommend trying to circumvent the IT Policy. You need to talk to the BES Admin.

If this is a used device, then you need to see our FAQ for removing an IT Policy. Wipe with Jl_cmdr and then reinstall the OS.
