Red face Trouble with Media Manager (music files)

Please Login to Remove!

I have been trying to locate a song in the Media Manager, to use as a ringtone on my phone. I have been able to do this in the past (with some difficulty), but today, I am unable to do so. In the past, I transferred songs from my iTunes library (via the Media Mgr) onto my microSD card. Today, for the life of me, I can't do it. I clicked on "All Music", but I can't find the song I'm looking for because as I scroll through the list, I am sent back down to the bottom of the list. When I try to select the playlist/album, it says it's empty. I apologize if this is a particularly stupid question, but I'm keen to have this tune on my Pearl! Thank you!

Can't tell you where the song went (maybe deleted). I think most people with an SD card don't mess with media manager, they set the phone's card as an external drive and just drag/drop the songs to it (photos, ringtones, videos too), or folders. Then you can make playlists right on the card an put 'em in a folder. Faster.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Since you set up through the desktop manager, did you try to look for it through the DM as well?

From the handheld, did you use the explore option as opposed to just clicking through albums or ringtones in the main area?

I use this method also. Very easy to use.

If you have itunes, make a playlist on itunes and the BB Media Manager should reconize it. Once you got you r music on the BB music manager, just drag and drop your music to your media card.
