Voice/Audio Gateway - Help with using your PC as a Headset for your blackberry

Backstory: I get terrible service at my desk where I work. But 20 feet away by the window I get full bars. I can't even receive a phone call when I am sitting at my desk so my solution is to leave my phone by the window, and use my computers Mic and Speakers (USB headset in this case) as the headset for my phone. I was able to get my laptop to pair with the 8100 as an "voice gateway" (from the laptop) and the 8100 sees the laptop as a headset.
All good. Or so I thought.
The problem: is that whenever I receive a call, there is no notification on the PC that I am receiving a call. I've seen this work flawlessly on a MAC with the built-in software, and when you receive a call, it shows a notification with the caller ID info of the caller which you can click and it will answer the call sans-issue.
I've tried searching all day for some sort of software that can mimic this ability but I'm having no luck.
I'm using the WIDCOM drivers for my bluetooth adapter and I don't know if that has something to do with it or not, but this is very frustrating. I found a program that mimics this functionality, but it only works for Sony Erikson phones and I wasn't able to hack it to work with the bb.
Someone please help, I can't be the only person out there that wants to do this.
