With the cell phone one would generally go to the number to be dialed
Hold down the send keyfor 2 seconds
and the message comes uo saying "what number or card would you like to charge this number to "
i would then press Ok and ir would use the card number which was stored in my cell

CAN THIS BE DONE ON MY BLACKBERRY ?

Well you could use the speed dial option - you can use I believe the # character to add a delay. So you could have 1800-xxx-xxxx###xxxxxxxx.

Default Calling Card Alternative

I do not know where you are calling, but I have ditched calling cards for a service called Gorilla Mobile for International calls. No PINS, no monthly charges etc. I dial into a NYC number (there is also an 800# for 15 cents a call) and the service recognizes my phone and then presents me with a second dial tone and I dial the number and it connects. I have absolutely no affiliation with them, it just has proved very cost effective since I signed up arounf Christmas and I have been very happy. http://www.gorillamobile.com/
