Yes, I do agree that they have great rates, now if they would only improve the coverage area we would have the best of all worlds. In turn the amount of growth in subscribers would increase rapidly.

It all depends on your definition of "soon". Soon being 2 weeks, 4 weeks, or 6 weeks?

What is the difference in 2, 4 or 6 weeks. You can't hold your breath for any of these choices.

This is so true. Then when one finally does get the "latest" after just a few days you forgot all about how long you waited. ...

It does not seem fair does it? Wait for months and months and the "new" wears off quickly. Seems is is always more intense "wanting" than "having".
It will be a nice Blackberry and I disliked my Pearl so much I went back to my nice 8700c with full QWERTY!

Again, I could not agree more.....
For me the two most important devices for work and personal use are my BlackBerry and my ThinkPad. I'm always so focused on these two areas, that I stay super current with the latest that's in the development pipeline.
Especially when it comes to my laptop, as I'm a software engineer (I own my own company) who does a wide variety of work, with very resource intensive software for 3D design etc. Also I use Photoshop and Illustrator concurrently, a lot of modeling and rendering as well as all the office apps.
So, these two items, being for work, seems to intensify it even more. I'm always on the "hunt" for the latest, fastest, most effecient way to get things done.
My venture into BlackBerryLand is relatively recent. I was already carrying a cell phone, PDA and Laptop, and wanted to get down to just one less unit. I sat back and watched the transformation of the BB from an email only device to incorporating a phone. Still too bulky and hearing reports that the phone was not that great, so I continued to wait. In the mean time I tried Treos', a Moto-Q and then finally a 7130c BlackBerry.
I'm glad that the sequence of events regarding smartphones unfolded the way it did for me, because it just so happened that I ended up with the best (BlackBerry) last. There would have been no way for me to appreciate the superiority of the current BB's if I had not tried the others first.
Now, it's like it's simply too good to be true. Outlook sync with my Laptop is as important to me as having push mail. As you know the BlackBerry does both of these in amazing fashion with very high speed. I could not be happier.
Cheers...

Yes, what a nice combination we have. As I too have a T60p (about 6 mo old).
World-Class devices that cannot be beat!
Cheers....

TMO or Cingular
Ok, I know that this topic has been going back and forth, but I know read on this forum that we can expect the 8800 to come out on Feb 12. Do we know which carrier yet or is it still a guess which one will have it first.

I'm betting your 100% correct.
Then it's my understanding that the full conversion to AT&T branding, packaging, store signage, TV advertising, Print media, etc will be completed by March 2007, then in Dec 2007 it reverts back to Cingular, however only until July of 2008 when it reverts back to AT&T. .....
I know .... a poor attempt at humor.......
It's just so Ironic because I was a customer of AT&T and then Cingular so I've been through this already and can only imagine what the "Great Strategists" have in mind....
