Check out version 3.4.1 with this functionality today. I'm currently copying the SMS text into the subject of the calendar entry. I could just as easily add an option to choose between the subject and the notes field. Please let me know which makes more sense.

OTA Download:
Can it support 4.10 for 7290.

I love it very much...

Thank you .

I don't think it will support 4.1 as written, due to the way the calendar app is launched. It would take a little bit of work to collect the calendar entry details (like start time and date), meaning a new dialog.

I'll see if there is some sample code for this kind of thing. How many people out there are still using 4.1 ?

WOWxxx65281; This is amazing!
I got it worked on my phone and this is just the way I wanted.
The notes part are so below that I often ignore.
Well, maybe others like it the notes field way. if it is easy enough, My suggestion is adding that to option.

Thanks a lot !!!

Default Calendar app

Big props for this.....I accidentally deleted my add to and nearly freaked when I found out that Berry Logic went under. Is this a hobby? Looking for a really good app to keep memory/performance at peak and I haven't heard good feedback about the ones that are out there.
Thanks again.

Maybe I should do a better job of marketing this. Where do people look first for Blackberry productivity apps?

Dude,

You absolutely ROCK!!!!! I used Follow-up previously but apparently they have discontinued development. What you have done here is absolutely fantastic. I just found this thread.

Steve
did you check the options screen? appointment duration and reminder time is set there, as is the option to copy message text into the appointment.

DUH!!!! I guess I need to learn to RTFM. Thanks, you have NO idea how happy this app just made me. One other suggestion and a suggestion only. Maybe a default "how far in the future" to schedule.

This is one of the most useful apps I have ever installed on to my blackberry!
You should totally go to howardforums.com and promote this app there!

Everyone should know about this, heck, even RIM should consider this as an OEM product!!

THANK YOU!!

Thanks for the app, really great.
I'm getting in on this pretty late, after the mention on berry review. I've gone through the thread to see what version I should be using but I'm still not 100% certain. Better just ask.
Mine is..
9000 Bold on AT&T and BIS. I downloaded 3.4.1
Is this the right version for me? Berry Review suggested 3.3 for a Bold

Thanks,

This is an Awesome App!! I really apprciate you taking the time to put this together...especially since RIM should have incorporated this in to their OS. One question, is there a way for you to add in the ability to not only be able to have the function of adding an email to the calendar, but also be able to add it to a task?

Kmoney25,

There is another free app that allows you to do this, I don't remember the name right now as I am traveling but they also have an app that allows you to add to memopad too.

Thanks PDM! This software is good...but it won't let you edit the reminder and due date before it saves it in your task list. I'm hoping rknobbe can tweak his software to include tasks. He's got a great product!
