Stonent, Yeah i realized i posted the question in the wrong place and have since been all over the search feature of the forums. I suppose it is semi-appropriate for this forum as I think the themes are a great improvement over 4.0!! (still- a impulsive/ignorant post by yours truly) Sadly, I havent found any themes for the 7250 that have blown my socks off as of yet/

I am running the same version of 4.1 on my Verizon 7250 that the rest of you are running... i was able to hide every icon including the power, wireless, and lock icons.

According to RIM, you are not supposed to be able to do that, so i guess i got lucky some how.

I should add that once I was able to do it on 4.0 with my tmobile 7230 a long time ago. I am not sure what causes it, but I'm glad it works currently for me!!

If I'm not too lazy later, I'll take a picture for you kids to see it.

I like MOST of the new features on my 7290. What I DO NOT like is that you can no longer make phone calls by typing the name in the phone screen (unless the name is already listed in your log).. You now have to click "call from address book" and select the name/number from there.

make sure that you are using the BB Browser, not the WAP browser. once you've navigated to the site, if you select Add Bookmark using the BlackBerry Folder (or a sub folder within) your handset will defer to the BB Browser. that should get the "Save" option back.

my favorite new features:

1. Customizing the "convenience" button
2. When new message is received, LED remains Red until you view the message list

How to do that? Mine used to bring up bookmarks, but now goes right to my home page. I prefer the former. How can I customize?!

Go in to Screen/Keyboard and you get the option to customize at the bottom of the screen. It's about time this happened, I always thought there was nothing convenient about a key you couldn't customize!!!!!

My favourite feature though has to be on the compose email section where it takes you straight in to the blank message rather than the address book and searches the address book in the 'To' field - much more of an Outlook experience!!!

OK. Great! I see where you can customize the button, but Bookmarks is not one of the choices!! This is a step backwards!!

On a 8700, Hold down the Call key, it will switch into your address book to call from

the other functions should be self-explanatory.

Where exactly do you get these options displayed? I have a 7100t & 8700c using 4.1 and I do not get these options.

A feature I really like is the ability to enhance a photo after you zoom in on it. The fuzzy pics are gone! But, I hear everyone saying you can personalize ringtones now. I cant find that option anywhere. Any suggestions? I'm on T-Mobile using a 7100t
