chinesecatt,

I'd like to get a leather case and the Orange or White skin from you. Will you ship USPS to Canada?

Your ebay auction only mentioned US shipping.

by the way. woo woo on the pic...

I purchased this case from chinesecatt and its awesome ! BUT I had a major incident last night ... the pearl fell out of the case and was lost for quite a while. Luckily I re-traced my steps and found it. I wear it in the horizontal position and ive noticed that if there is any pressure on the bottom of the case that makes the pearl move forward, the magnetic latch just opens allowing the pearl to fall out. Do I just have a weak defective latch? Please advise ...

Hi Chris! You can tell by how strong the magnet is when you close it co'z it should snap in place. If the original packaging with the seal "UNRETURNABLE IF SEAL IS BROKEN" is still attached to the packaging and it looks as BRAND NEW, send it back to me and I'll send you a BRAND NEW one. Please provide a pre-paid PRIORITY MAIL for me to ship your new holster back to you.

I have never come across this issue yet, so I'm going to check it real well.

Sweet. It would be perfect without the silver BB emblem on the front.

Sweet. It would be perfect without the silver BB emblem on the front. When the Cingular Pearl comes out, I am either going to get this one or the SeidioOnline.com plastic holster, altough the plastic holster is pretty steep at $29.95.

Yep the case is great (love it), it's just sitting in a drawer though... I only use it when I travel for business. I took some pics and they turned out pretty good. I will try and get them up soon.

I just wanted to send Chinesecatt some reputation for the transaction. She shipped the case when she said she did. She did some smart paperwork on the shipping docs to cross the border cleanly (Canada) and the package arrived faster than another vendor's shipment that was "apparently" shipped 1 week prior.

Thanks Chinesecatt.

The case is very nice also.

I have a question.

On your ebay picture the stitching is black. However, on the official BlackBerry shop site the stitching is white.

Which color is it?

Thanks!

The Official BlackBerry shop site are using the 7100 series and the 8700 series leather holsters in their photos.

Besides the difference in size, you can tell right away that they are not featuring the exact item through identifying the side configuration of the Leather Holster itself. The 7100 Series and the 8700 Series, are designed with a touch of Leather sewn onto the elastic band, as shown in photos below.

So bottom line, differences are:
  • Size
  • Side configuration/design
  • Stiching (which applies only to the Pitch Black Leather)

Hope this information helps.

Just got mine today. Nice and slim. The clip is not as tight on the belt as I like it. Maybe I need a thicker belt The phone does fit a little on the snug side. I guess it needs to be broken in. I assume the phone faces in like most other cases?
