I know Facebook likes to hijack the default calendar service - but I have not heard of anyone not being able to set it back and have it STAY with the CICAL of your choice. One thing you might want to try, set the default CICAL of your choice and then go into the Facebook app and uncheck the OPTION of Calendar integration on your device. Or, if that doesn't work...Do it in reverse: Uncheck the Calendar integration within the Facebook app and then change default CICAL service - battery pull and see how that goes. Very strange, indeed!

I'm working with the same problem right now. I want to remove facebook from having anything to do with my calendar because its basically useless. I only use Google SYNC to sync my calendar with my BB, which has always worked flawlessly. Until Facebook decided to integrate into the BB calendar as well.

I deleted the FB CAL SB first .. still didnt' work. Set the calendar to my @tmo.blackberry.net default. Still didn't work. And now its duplicating everything. What a headache.

This is what I did and now its working back to normal with my original calendar being the boss.

1. Delete Facebook Calendar Service Book
2. Set Default Calendar to your own
3. Delete Facebook
4. Restart BB
5. Delete Facebook Calendar Service Book (again)
6. Cold Battery Pull
7. Works.

Now will Facebook work after i have done this .. I'll let you know.
