To add to what Daphne said.
I use it to read the newspaper and other media outlets such as CNN etc. For my purposes, it is my number 1 used program. I eliminate feeds I don't want.
For example, I check out the local section of my neighborhood paper every day.

goto new & rss, hit menu then select Add Channel. Then select Add your own channel. Then select Add from Web page. Enter the web address of your local paper.

Which local paper do you want? This will give you a head start.

I also tend to add my feeds through my PC at my.viigo.com but you can add from your device.

For example, I see you are from Maryland, I can add the top stories from the Baltimore Sun by adding this link baltimoresun.com - News to VIIGO

Very Good. You can add as many rss threads as you want. To save battery power, I have it update manually and I make sure to exit out when not in use.
