Sigh. For the nth time -- you can use any GPS app you want on an at&t BB. There's no "may" about it. It doesn't matter if you have at&t Nav installed or not (I've never had it on any of my at&t BB's with GPS).

As reported on HoFo, the internal gps on Verizon pearls and curves now works with BB maps. Try it for yourself.

Just thought it was fair to note that the info you had been given a while back by Verizon pretty much turned out to be correct. Verizon has unlocked the GPS w/BB Maps on OS 4.5. Turns out all of us nay-sayers ended up being wrong, fortunately for us.

Can you have the BT puck paried and still use a BT headset at the same time?

I believe so...I've used a BT GPS puck while my phone is connected via BT to my car's BT kit.
