Yay! Got my PASSED e-mail.
BlackBerry Certified Support Specialist (v5.0)
Funny thing is that I took the BETA exam before 5.0 was released and before the documentation was published. LOL!
Part 2: Got the BlackBerry® Certified System Administrator (v5.0) notification today that I passed that one too. Once again I took the BETA exam before 5.0 was released and before the documentation was published.

Hey I'm new to the community so please be nice...
I thinking of getting my bcp 211 to get totally certified...
But now looking at BB site and they have another exam 221.
Just wondering if this is going to replace 211 test and like I have read in these sites that will have to take this one to keep my certification alive.
Can't find too much info on this one so maybe it is too new--like me...
Thanks

Yes, it does. So you are planning to take BCP-211 and get just BlackBerry Certified Support Specialist?
Or also take BCP-213 Supporting a BlackBerry Enterprise Server in a Microsoft® Exchange Environment for BlackBerry Certified Server Support Specialist?
Ahhh, just see that the expensive one seems to contain a voucher and a test examen.
Does it mean the fee for one examen at prometric is allready included ?
I don't think the RIM certifications expire (much like those of Cisco) so once you pass a test you will be BlackBerry certified, I have not seen anything stating RIM will expire/void any certifications yet.
Of course it would be good practice to stay current.. but once you know BlackBerry it's almost all the same, they just move stuff around on us.

Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.
Looks like Element K has the new training guides up for BCP-220--although Blackberry hasn't updated their website with any info telling us that the new exam is live yet (out of beta).
Just to elementkcourseware.com and search for blackberry.
blackberry told me that the new 5.0 exam's have a lot less server questions and more questions focusing on actually supporting devices etc. Which is why I failed my first test, it was all server questions. I was also told that the 221 element K study guides should be ready in a couple weeks.
