Google Talk is right up there on my list of things I want to have the time to integrate with Ramble. My dilemma is do I fix the current code to a 1.0 level first, or do I add new protocols. That and finding time to work on anything at all

another thanks. This program and your efforts are most appreciated. I say get the code to 1.0 before you start adding stuff as AIM is still far more widely used than google talk/jabber. But its your baby, do what you prefer

For some reason I can't seem to get notification to work correctly (nextel 7520). I try to set both in and out of holster to both/none/none (msg/singon/signoff) and i get no vibes or beeps. Volume also resets itself to 80 no matter what. I let it upgrade my Ramble w/out installing using the desktop applet, and then for kicks tried uninstalling and reinstalling again using the desktop applet. Dunno if im doing it wrong or if its a bug.

WORKS AWESOME!! EXCELLENT EXCELLENT JOB.. VERY APPREICATED

2 Questions though...

1. Is there anyone to get anyones away messages other than actually sending them a message?

2. My Get Buddy Info worked the first time when i tryed and now it just says 404 Error Page not found whenever I try. Anything I can do to fix this? IT worked amazing the first time but cant get it to work again..

Once again I thank you a million times for your efforts. Keep up the AMAZING work!..

Just curious Rambler.... do you think this could be used on a mobile phone? I ask this casue I was going to try and put it on my i860 (weekend phone). Or am I just crazy for thinking this?

Default Thanks Rambler

I just installed the new version OTA, It overwrote the older version. I am very grateful. I'll keep you posted if I encounter any bugs. So far it works fine. I'm loving it.

No but to be honest I dont know why I would bother with it even if it worked, I use Rambles to communicate with the office personnel in emergency situations, I do not use it as a chat program per se.if i need to chat i do it from the PC , if i have my BB on me it means I am outside of the office and I am ussually too busy to be worried about chatting, even in a scenario of an airport killing time and using Ramble my main concern is whether I can chat with who I want to rather than what the info for that person is.

You have to sometimes try it multiple times.

Buddy Info is a known issue that I think I know how to solve, but haven't had the time to implement. Soapm is correct, though, if you keep trying, eventually you'll hit the right server and get the data you want.

I have not been able to get any sound notifications. I have all the settings correct in ramble, and I have also made sure all the audio events are set with some sound in my active profile.

Anyone else having this issue? I have a 7100t with latest firmware from tmo.

Thanks for your efforts in getting Ramble back up and running Rambler! They are very much appreciated.
