I'm new here, been reading the forums for a few weeks though.
Here goes,
I've had a 8830 on Sprint for about a month now and it will lock/freeze up while trying to make a call about every 2-3 days. It gets stuck on "Calling" I can hit end and everything else works fine but to be able to complete a call I have to take the battery out, then everything is fine.

I did a search on this and found 1 VZW customer that seemed to be having a similar problem who upgraded his software, wondering if I am the only having the problem on Sprint.

Someone reccomended I try the new VZW software but I'm kinda leary to do that.

Who here is using the Verizon software on the Sprint 8830 and how is it working for you??

I am with Verizon but the software will definately work on a sprint phone and the upgrade will fix the problem you are having as I had the same problem until the update.

Thanks for the help. I'm trying to download it but the VZW site is asking for a cell #, does anyone have one they can PM me so I can download the software?
