whats up fellow BB users,
I have invested in my first blackberry last week (8700c) i got the phone off craig'slist and made sure the phone was it perfect working order, she warned me that the outer keys ex(p,q,spacebar,etc..) were a little sticky, and i said that was ok because the phone was priced so well. Well i love the phone and will never go back to my razr ever again, but my problem now is the spacebar it not working and i no have to use an underscore to leave space in my sms messages and email, are there any fixes for the sticky keys and spacebar that stopped working?

Try a can of air. Did they say how those keys became worn? Hope it wasn't water or pop damage..

I used to fix these things for a living... hardest part is taking it apart... you can follow this thread for that.

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...t-housing.html

Then just get a toothbrush and some alcohol and scrub the metal contacts on the board. Also scrub the small black carbon dots on the back of the keys. Then WAIT! make sure all the alcohol had dried before you put it back together and power it up. works everytime. :()

Also, make sure the alcohol is a high % like 90. There is a preferred alcohol for electronics. the shack might even sell it.
