Default linux client

I have browsed my blackberrys FS, sorta, in kde using BlueTooth. I think that might be a more likely path to travel. If I remeber right I couldn't really do anything with it though. Give me some time And I will try again. It might be possibal to at least install and backup via bluetooth in linux. On the plus side, theres absolutly no need to use Desktop Manager at all with a BES 4.1 soultion or a BIS solution (the new one that allows real access to the net). OTA downloads and wireless sync with email aloows you do everything. with BES theres not even a reason to back up (unless your servers are not backed up).

Opps i forgot to add the new exchange clients like evolutions client. With out that the BES solution is quite pointless as far as syncing goes.

I'm looking for a sync program myself now as I have Ubuntu 6.10 on a dual boot with XP Pro. As soon as I feel really comfortable with Ubuntu.....bye bye Windows. Windows is such a pain in the rear and mines is super tweaked.

I have used the link above and am running Dapper Drake (Ubuntu 6.06) on my laptop..

It does work but it's very, very slow and buggy!

To answer an eralier Q about wine.... DM will not and does not work under wine..
