Hello friend, you should research before posting. If you had done so, you would know that there both the 8320 and 8820 are floating around. Both of these devices are WiFi capable. The only thing that BG has posted is that an 88xx WiFi BB has been approved by the FCC, not that there is no 83xx series device.

and maybe you should not be such a wise As...
I posted what BG had stated in his article, and that article states that the 8800 series will have wifi not the 8300 series. If there is another article somewhere else stating something else, then why dont you save everyone sometime and you place that thread.

**Moving to the rumor mill***

It's all still rumor since nothing has been announced or released. I would look for both.

And BG doesn't state that the 83xx series won't have wifi, he simply says that the FCC has approved the 88xx.

Jibi has openly said that he currently HAS an 8320, so obviously it is in existence.

I have "seen" the 8320. It exists...just don't know exactly when it will be released. Rumor is TMo this fall. It's all rumor and has been posted here before. It wouldn't surprise me if there was an 8820 as well as per BG.

I was very nice to you. If you thought I was being a "wise As" as you so eloquently stated, you need to desensitize a bit.

There is an 8820. There is an 8320. Both have Wi-Fi. The latter will be released in a few months. It appears the first will be released next month. End of story, really.

Thanks Jibi. Now lets just get RIM to move the MicroSD slot on the 8320 to the outside so I can have a wifi BB with a camera and GPS using:
Spectec's SDG-811 miniSD GPS with microSD slot - Engadget

I am assuming the 8320 will be T-Mobile, and the 8820 AT&T. Yes??

Earlier there was talk that both would go to TMO, but that seems a little too awesome

It does, doesn't it? Hey, if I can have a choice of the 8120 and the 8320 for T-Mobile I will be happy. I have yet to play with the 88xx device's keyboard but the keys do LOOK cramped. Who knows, though, maybe I would like it.

Huh? What does this have to do with the price of tea in China?
