Default personal and work email - reverse of usual - please help

Please Login to Remove!

I currently have a 7100 that is connected to a BES service for my personal email. I would like to receive my company email on my blackberry, but they do not have a BES.

Can I have my work email, calendar, etc arrive on my BB easily and real time?

My work server is Exchange, and I connect from a remote office over VPN.

Thanks,

Tysonb

Try searching for redirector instruction, or reading the manual for it. There have been numerous discussions around here on this subject.

If e-mail is the key and PIM is not a must-have, you can use the BlackBerry Web Client (although I think I read they recently renamed it) through your provider. With the BWC, you can sync with up to 10 e-mail accounts. I know it supports POP and OWA; don't know about IMAP. BWC will get you OTA e-mail, but not PIM. You'll have to synch with a desktop for that.

If you use the desktop redir to try and sync your calendar from your work outlook profile, I think you will lose your encryption key with the BES server for your personal stuff.

bfrye,

I know how to redirect, but I wanted full functionalityfrom both - but would settle for simply having my calendars synced.

Anyway, I found a product that will sync folders from 2 Outlook installations called 4team - 4team.biz.

The product does a decent job of 2 way syncing the folders over email. Anyway, the job is getting done, and I am relatively happy - I just would prefer something a little more real time.
