Did the install of the Parrot CK-3100 (Thanks www.smartphonedepot.com!!!) to pair with my Blackberry 7100t. Had to iron a few wrinkles from user error in installation (installation instructions really suck), but the phone paired just fine and the sound quality and convenience are second to none.

Phone pairs instantly once car is turned on (once I made it a trusted device). Microphone placed above drivers head on A pillar which makes for excellent sound quality for the person on the other line.

I'm going to upload my address book to the device soon through Outlook on my PC with a bluetooth adapter

Yes the french translation is not the best on the limited instructions...

Great looking install!!!! Does a panel come down to cover the display? ( sorry not that familiar with the Maxima interior)

Funny enough ... I speak french and couldn't figure out where they got half their translation from. Anyway ... it was the lack of wire tags (input/output - I cut the harnesses off before I figured out which was which. The only thing I really forgot and it really bit me in the rear - doubled my work.)

However, I got everything ironed out - install took me 5 total hours including a few breaks and LOTS of cutting, twisting, soldering and taping.

The unit is actually mounted in the ashtray. There is a light that goes on when you open the ashtray and if you remove that light, there is a hole just big enough to get the cable through. Unfortunately I cannot close the ashtray (I'd like to be able to) because the wire is too thick and prevents it from swiveling. I think I'm going to get some flat wire and splice it in so I can open and close the ashtray. Hideaway Bluetooth!

Down the line, when I get a new headunit and stereo installed, I will be using the line in and audio mute method and will custom fabricate a stereo mount and include the Parrot in that mount ... try and make it look as much like OEM as possible,
