any one came across 443/webconsole/login not Unable to connect problem ?

Basic troubleshooting for "Page cannot be displayed" error when launching the BlackBerry Administration Service web console

however in the logs im getting the next errors

if yes then



removing Microsoft Patch KB3061518 from my windows 7 64 bit PC lets me access BAS



A recent Microsoft patch might have caused this, here is the solution:

Start with this.



KB02068 - How to troubleshoot SRP connectivity issues



Have you made any perimiter or software firewall changes?

Can you flush your DNS server cache?
Are all your BES services running?
DBNS can be ignored.

What are they being logged on as?

Try stopping these services in this order:

Blackberry Controller
Blackberry Dispatcher
Blackberry Router

Starting the services in this Order:

Blackberry Controller
Blackberry Dispatcher
Blackberry Router

Let us know how you progress.

is it just me ? or everyone came across similar problems with BES5 ?

I never had that many issues with BES 5, but I did stay on top of Service Packs and only got the page could not be found from the MS KB Patch.

BES 12 is working with out any issue.

BES 12 was installed straightaway with no issues.. But need BES5 to work with old devices and be fully compatible with Symantec pgp.

have you rebooted the server?
local SQL can be access by SSMS?
hopefully you are loggin in with BESAdmin service account

Hi!
Thanks for the replay !!
Haven't manege to login via AD , but have managed to do so with BB Admin Service ..
Set up it policy .. created user .. user activation password..
And now stuck with the next problem ..
Enterprise activation via WIFI is not going any future then Acquiring service connection..and Activation request failed.. A service connection is not available..

Could it be coz is was not corresponding with AD in the first place ? or it will not do the job without BES enabled sim ?
