Not that it matters when you don't have a data plan, but Protect comes installed and the version on app world is not compatible for now. There will eventually be an upgrade on app world, as there was for the podcasts app just the other day.

ok, say you lost your phone, most or 99,9% the simcard will be inside the phone, the thief can just copy the data (back up) or manually copy the data using note pad and a pen.
after that, throw the sim card, use new one, do the wipe and voila you get a free blackberry that working with new sim card.... basically what is the point RIM use this feature?
stupid RIM, no wonder its market share goes down! they getting stupider and stupider every time....
