Ok. I have BBWeather GPS and it installed fine. I set up the @GPS and got that to work just fine, it accurately found my zip code and displayed my results. However when I check on the app an hour later, it hasn't refreshed and shows "GPS**". So I think it just can't get a GPS signal. I make a new profile using my zip code and it loads yet again just fine. But still it will not update. I try and "force" the update but that doesn't seem to be doing anything at all. Overall tho great app. PM me if you have a reply to my problem for refreshing. (And yes I have the auto-refresh set to 30 minutes, the minimum)

Heh. Just took the time to fully read the thread. Noticed where he said that the feed he uses only updates once per hour, so not matter how many times I press update there just isn't any new information to grab. :D

It's fantastic! And "free" is nice too.
It's also useful to tell me when I've lost my data connection. When BBWeather doesn't display the temp/conditions on my homepage icon I know I've lost connectivity. Spiffy litte tell-tale.
my gps on BB Weeather has been stuck at zip code 10001 (manhattan) since late November; i've upgraded the BB weather software and upgraded my blackberry software but nothing has changed....on a blackberry bold 9700 tmobile...ideas?
Try the other GPS service... I don't have BBWeather installed any longer, but in the settings there is a place where you can specify the GPS service (that translates the GPS location to a ZIP code). There are two to choose from - choose the other and see what happens.
tried what you suggested; changed every conceivable setting; wondering if anyone else has problem with OS 5 on bold 9700 or if there are any other suggestions
I have to restart the phone every time I make a change to anything on for the homepage icon. Some of you that have problems might need to test changes and restart the phone. It took me hours to figure out that...
Just switched to a 9550. Anyone get it working on one? I'm running the latest version (based on this thread), have set permissions to allow everything, but it freezes my screen. Hopefully I'm just doing something wrong...
Kudos to you Tateu!! I've always used only BBWeather and just happened to run across your new gps version yesterday. I had to change a few default settings but it works like a charm on my bb bold 9700. Thanks!
I have the Bold II and BB Weather with GPS does not work and I've tried all the settings. Here's what happens:
1. Whatever town I am in when I first run BB Weather, it selects a town that is close, but not accurate.
2. From that moment on, whenever I run BB Weather, it continues to display the forecare for the original town that was chosen when I ran it for the first time.

What settings did you use? I cannot get it to update to the location that I am currently in - where ever that is.
I've upgraded from the Tour to the 9650 Bold. Now the app never auto-updates the home screen icon, even with the "Current & Homescreen Poll Interval" is set to 30 minutes. The app itself seems to auto-update just fine, but it doesn't change the temp/conditions displayed on the icon when it's one of the 6 home screen icons on my desktop. As soon as I open BBWeather the icon shows updated conditions.
It used to auto-update just fine, but moving to the 9650 with OS 5 seems to have broken this feature.
