Default .jad from PC to BB ??

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I have just loaded SMScontact from here

bberryapp.com/blackberryapplications/smscontact/

and it has ended up on my desktop as a .jad file.

I have searched and seen people say I just need to drag it into my phone's memory folder and then load it from there ? I have two blackberry folders showing in MY COMPUTER and I cannot find the memory card anywhere ?

I have also tried using the APPLICATION LOADER in DM but when I try to find the .jar file on my desktop it does not show up

Ca someone advise as I really want to be able to SMS people my contacts when they ask.....'

thanks

If you have a memory card? If so, pull your card from the phone, put the card into your computer and open it via "My Computer". Move your "JAD" file to your card. Eject your card by right clicking on it in my computer and hit eject. Remove card and insert into phone. Go to your media, hit the blackberry options button. Go to "explore". Find the file you put on your card and select it. It should bring up the download menu on your screen. Let me know if this helps!

Firstly, the 'jad' file is just a part of the installation files needed for your application.
You need to get the rest first - these should be 'cod' files.
I've tried a couple methods to get these files, based on the link you said you went to, but I was unsuccessful.

Best thing to do is download this application direct on your BB, through its browser.

The 'Blackberry' folder you see in your 'My Computer' is the actual folder for your media card, so that's where you'd drop your 'jad' and 'cod' files.
