I had no idea where to post this but hopefully someone can tell me how to find out which app has available updates when the little download symbol with the red * appears on the home screen. Last time this popped up it took hours of searching through every folder for the corresponding * but this time I can't find one anywhere. Whatever the alert is, it's slowing down the whole OS and I'd like to either track it down and get the update or get rid of the alert that is causing a nuisance. This is on the 8900 (I think!!) - any suggestions welcome!

Go to app world.
then my world
it will show if there are any updates.

Thanks for the quick response. That's where I expected to find the update but it isn't in My World, just an app installed and one uninstalled, can't see the others I've downloaded. Have done battery pull but hasn't reset the view. Any suggestionsv

That's where I expected to find it but MyWorld is only showing 2 apps (1installed ages ago, 1 just uninstalled - don't know why this is still showing). I'm not sure how to bring back the full view including updates, perhaps this is my problem, not the *!
