How long have you had the BB? Is something wrong with how it works?

IMHO, if it works like you want and need it to work and isn't broken, there is no reason to try to fix it. This is especially the case if it is new.

Get to know the device, use it and learn how it works.

You might find out that it is fine just the way it is. The forums are full of good and bad experiences when upgrading to a new OS version.

If you still feel the need, read the yellow sticky at the top of the 8900 section for the latest OS for your specific device and the instructions on how to upgrade.
