Issue with voice commands and contacts

Hi wonder if someone can help with these two issues:
1)I set up voice command and it worked (except when in the car. ??cos background noise??). Now when i press the voice command button it attempts to open itself but does not actually come on and tell me to "state a command" . Is there anything i can do to rectify this?
2) a BB friend sent me my own contacts details (i suppose a bit like Nokia's business card) and i accidently saved it in my own contacts list. Now i cannot delete or edit it. Help?!
And by the way is a PIN the same as a BB Message?
Looking forward to your replies. Both problems are driving me mad!
Not sure if its any help but am using software V5.0.0.442 (platform 5.10.121)
