Worked fine for years and then all of a sudden stopped receiving SMS and MMS messages. Everything else (telephone and sending messages) works fine AFAIK.


Memory: 15,000,000 bytes free
OS: Just updated to 4.5.something. Problem occurred before software update
Registered HRT again
Tried two different SIM cards (from different carriers)
Pulled the battery several times

I only have the standard applications installed; I haven't added anything. Currently only using the handheld for telephone and SMS messages.

Interesting thing I noticed. When I try sending myself an SMS from another cell phone, I can see the indication of a data transfer (the two little diagonal arrows in the top right corner flashing for a second or two) but still I don't get the notification of a new message and nothing turns up in my inbox. Today I tried sending an MMS (I just attached an image) and the data transfer indication lasted longer (larger file) but the message still didn't come in.

Any ideas?
