Default Tour/Storm Difference Question

Please Login to Remove!

On the data sheet for the Storm and Tour, the Tour has these features that the Storm does not

* Mobile Broadband Capable
* VZ Navigator

1) What does Mobile Broadband allow? I assume with the Storm I can still browse internet etc... I assume I can tether with Tetherberry.

2) Does the Storm have GPS capability, I understand I really dont need VZ-N to use that.

thanks for any help, going to pick one of the two up. Have a good deal on a new Storm I can take.

Ive noticed when comparing features on the BB website, that it misses stuff out.
It said something like GPS yes on the bold but no on the 8900.
but the 8900 has GPS.

As far as I know, both storm and tour can do both of the above you mentioned.

Yes, the Storm has GPS. It works well with Google Maps.

There is pretty much 2 major differences. Either you have a trackball and physical keyboard or not.

I was thrilled to abandon both when transitioning from the Curve to the Storm.

Default Storm 2 GPS

Will Storm 2 have "true" gps (not just gps via cell tower triangulation) AND wifi on the Verizon network? Thanks in advance!
