i wantto unlock my themes i searched the forum and i under stand that i need to edit the blackberry.alx file but the problem is that i cant find the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\
i also made a search for blackberry.alx and came up with no results

can it be that i am missing some files?

can anyone help please

Is it just the Shared folder that you are missing, or the entire path?

i dont have Not Shared Folder And Not Loader Files

i am not so concerned about the themes i am more concerned about the missing files?

You have to download the 4.6 software from your service provider and install it on your computer. You'll then see the folder. It's really not worth it though. The themes are all the same with only slight color changes for the different carriers.

You get that folder when you download the device software.

I can't post links unfortunately but if you search on google "blackberry device software" something will come up. Look for a pinstack link that's the one I was trying to send. The post should be by a guy called "Hayden".

Once you find the pinstack link:

Pick your location and carrier and click the links.
Make sure you download the device software and not a different copy of the DM.
Once it downloads, just double click and install, then the shared folder will be there
