Hello again,

We just recevied some new T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl 8220 Smartphones to test out.

Trying to figure out if it's possible to create a personal dist. list, and then send SMS texts to that list.

I've created a test dist list, but when I go to try and send an SMS to it, I get an "this entry has no SMS address".

Maybe it's Monday but I'm totally flailing on trying to set this up.

I there's any other info needed, please let me know.

Make a group. Add contacts phone numbers as the address to send to. The go to create sms and find the newly created group. That appears to work. Have not sent a test txt though

Looks like this should work - you have to select an email or phone number when you add them to the group, and in SMS I can select that group to send to. Cool - didn't know the BB could do this. Now I can "broadcast" to my kids all at once. (They will not be happy.) ;)

Excellent. Thanks much for the reply/info. When all the emergencies around here subside, I'll give this a shot
