If one chooses to have an auto bcc sent to one's main email address, the mail one has sent from the BB gets re-sent to the BB of course. One can set a filter to avoid this eg if the message contains the word 'Blackberry' and put that in one's signature on mail sent from the BB. However that might mean that a reply to one's email that one wanted to arrive on one's BB was filtered out.

Any suggestions for a better solution?

you can set up a filter in the BWC to not send messages from yourself to your handheld. You can get to the filters from the BWC home page when you log in.
