Default Wifi question.

I read the FAQ with regards to WIFI access with my 8330 Curve, from which I gleaned that it's possible to use my home Wifi access point. Unfortunately under my connections options on my unit, there's no Wifi option....What the heck...Did work choose the cheap model with no Wifi? Am I stuck using my provider's(Verizon) network for browsing?

According to the BB website: BlackBerry - Curve Battery Life, Memory and More Specifications That model does not support Wi-Fi.

Can't comment on the virtues of your employer...other than the lack of Wi-Fi, will cost them dearly if they allow use of the browser.

That would be a Verizon issue. As of now, no Verizon BlackBerrys have WiFi capabilities.

That isn't necessary true. My husband's work BB has unlimited data. He is allowed to surf all he wants on his personal time with the company BB. There are certain things, they don't want him to do like send text messages. Text messages cost them extra, but using the browser doesn't. He is also on BIS and not BES, if that makes any difference.
