Default BES/BPS Server Suddenly Stopps Sending Emails to Users from Exchange

Please Login to Remove!

We have a small amount of BB users and as such are using BPS instead of BES. All was working fine util about 9 AM today. This works in conjunction with Exchange 2003. Since the problem started we have rebooted both our Exchange and BPS server and nothing changed. I have stopped and restarted services but still no change. Looking in Event Viewer there is nothing standing out as to any problems. Also through Blackberry Manager home page I can send successful PIM's to the users, but not a successful Email.

Thanks

Very curious. Are calender and/or task updates registered and pushed out to the BBs? How about if a calender update is made on the BB -- does it get updated in Exchange? Can the BBs send mail, but just not receive? If any of the BBs have BIS email set up, can they send/receive emails under those accounts?

Sorry if all I am doing is asking questions as opposed to giving answers, but this might help identify the source of the problem.

Also, consider asking this in the BES Administrators forum. Perhaps a mod can move it.

sounds like one of the BB services may not have started correctly on the BPS - so log onto the server and check, there's a bunch of services that all are called 'blackberry xyz service'

what happens when you try to send email from the device - if it fails then open up the sent message (red x) and they'll be an error message which should give us some pointers..

Any firewall changes / other network changes happened last night / this am?
