Ok so I'm fully aware of the issues with the 8130 erasing call logs. However I've been using the soft reset program to reset my phone to make sure they don't get erased that way....but is it me...or does the phone only store all call logs for like 2 days? My Q stored missed/received/dialed for like..15-25 days I think. It was a long time. How long does the 8130 store calls?

The phone call log is supposed to be stored indefinatly. Only when the device runs out of space does it delete any of the call log.

Look at Messages, View Folders, Phone Call Log. Press "b" to go the earlest one. What date?

I thought it is according to the OS. Mine saves the past 30 days.

What's weird is that it has stored all my text messages since I've gotten my new phone...but the call log has only been good for the last 3 days. I checked...and I only have 1.5MB of memory free. Maybe this is why I'm also having issues in other areas?

After OS 4.1 the call logs are kept only 30 days. This is to prevent thousands of phone logs clogging up the device and slowing down Enterprise Activation.

If you have only 1.5MB free, then you need to do some house cleaning.

Hey i noticed your post i had the Q previously as well and it did seem to hold my cal history alot longer.I dont know how long the blackberry stores the call log, because mine is still erasing the call log and sms messages whenever it wants. Can you tell me a little bit more about the soft reset program you mentioned?
