I hate to be one to go against the grain, but I thought this sounded a little strange.... so I logged into my Gmail account, and there it was, right under "forwarding" ....I set it up to auto-forward all inbound messages to my cingular blackberry address. ...works fine!

When I visit that URL it just saves a document file. I have been using gmail on my 7520 using the forwarding option in gmail, then it just forwards it to my blackberry email address.

no need anymore - just use the auto-forward feature.... and if you dont want your spam (i get very little anyway at gmail) just setup a filter and then forward it from there....

i've found it to be flawless and instant - and its great for archiving.... as soon as you fill up one gmail account (1 GB) just forward (with the delete filter) and bounce it off a newly created account.... your email addy stays the same, everything goes through your BB, and you have unlimited archive space for all your email (and a great way to search it)

Also keep in mind that the wap protocol is not secure, so your username/password could be sniffed on gateways, especially when using somebody elses hosted gmail-mobile gateway such as nodrm.com/gmail.

Gmail now has native mobile support.

http://m.gmail.com
Try it here.

If it still doesn't work, clear your service books and resend them.

Stupid question: do you have BlackBerry data service added to the account?
