I'm looking to do an install of BES Express 4.1 for Exchange. I have Exchange 2003 Enterprise SP2 on a Windows Server 2003 Standard SP1 that's also the domain controller. I only have three Blackberrys. I have other member server Windows Server 2003 Standard, I want to install BES Express 4.1 for Exchange on one of those. Would that work or does it have to be on a box with Exchange Server?

Does not have to be installed on an Exchange server.

It is also recommended that you install it on one of the servers that is not running Exchange.

You might look to move Exchange off of the domain controller before you put the BES on that hardware ... and then get new hardware for the BES. Best practice says never install Exchange on a DC (the only exception to this is SBS ... which is its own beast!)
