Anyone can recommend a case for holding our blackberry that can be used for running? maybe something to wrap around the arm.

I'd suggest the Otterbox 1933. It comes with a plastic holster that could be securely affixed to a waistband or armband, plus the case provides protection from liquid i.e. sweat. It is also well protected if you drop it.
